My Favorite Days

My absolute favorite days are stay at home days when everyone is home. When all three of my kids and Bill and I are all at home and cozy. Nowhere in particular to be. Nothing in particular to do.

There is something about the moments where there is no reason to have the frenetic energy of "come on come on everyone out the door we gotta go," but yet the house is full and the humans are humaning. And my heart feels full.

It is so rare and so special to me. I sometimes squeeze myself and feel so very very lucky that I don't just love my kids and my family and this life I have built, but I really truly like them. All of them. The people in this house are my everything.

Warm snuggles, some treats, a playful puppy. My life is full.
